ABOUT US
About the Book
This book presents an account of a mother who refers to her son as “A Champion”. The book’s first part details my son’s journey of learning to speak and attaining key milestones until his tenth birthday. The book concludes with detailed accounts of my experiences with my son at home developing key skills.
The skills covered in the book include reading, writing, potty training, riding a bicycle and self-care activities. Every child has the potential to thrive with the right support from their parents and carers.

About the author
My name is Eniola Oyegunle, and I am the mother of “A Champion.” I have two sons who are neurodivergent. I am building a “Thriving Beyond the Label” Community with a group of parents with similar experiences raising neurodivergent children. The community aims to create a supportive environment where parents and carers can learn from and support each other. I believe every child is unique and, therefore, can thrive by focusing on identifying and leveraging their strengths. You can connect with the community via the designated page
